Gordon is a UW River Falls graduate with a B.S. in Soil Science and minor in Horticulture and Land Use Planning. Before joining Bella he was a superintendent at 3 country clubs over a 20 year span including managing construction of a golf course, choosing all plant materials for the course.

He won a Midwest Regional Award for the Audubon Co-operative Sanctuary Program and is a Certified Pesticide Applicator
